DESCRIPTION:Join us to celebrate the Artists and view their recent work featured in Natural Tendencies. \nNatural Tendencies\, featuring work by Tomoko Abe\, Natale Adgnot\, Allison Belolan and Christy Sheppard Knell\, is an exploration of human inclinations and how they inform our interactions with nature. Through glass\, fabric\, projection\, ink\, beeswax\, thermoplastic\, horsehair and beyond\, these artists explore the relationship between humanity and nature\, the tension between transience and permanency and the ubiquity of bias\, both conscious and unconscious. Experimenting with unusual materials and allowing them to dictate what takes form serves as a reminder to distinguish between what is designed and what is destined\, and to strike a balance between the two.
