DESCRIPTION:Join us for an Artists Talk with Monica Shulman and Kate Rusek. The Artists will speak about their inspiration\, influences\, artistic process and more. This is also a great opportunity to see Thresholds before the show closes on November 15. \nIn “Thresholds\,” Rusek and Shulman guide viewers through the intriguing spaces between defined states\, where change and growth occur. Rusek’s ceramic forms capture absence as a tangible object to touch and feel. Shulman’s layered paintings capture the essence of liminal experiences\, visual diaries that mark the artist’s journey through life’s transitions. Both artists embrace the creative potential in uncertain\, in-between spaces: Rusek’s work embodies the threshold between material histories and imagined futures\, while Shulman’s canvases capture fleeting moments between the past and the future. \nAll are welcome.
