DESCRIPTION:In Bloom at Yellow Studio  \n  \nYellow Studio is constantly evolving and exploring new opportunities. Flowers in bloom serve as a visual reminder of the beauty in growth through change. In June\, we are celebrating the third anniversary of Yellow Studio with additional space to display art and expand our engagement with women owned businesses in the community. In this spirit\, Yellow Studio invites women Artists in the community working across all mediums to submit their floral artwork – work that is inspired by or a depiction of flowers.  \n  \nTo submit via Artwork Archive:  \nFirst create an Artwork Archive profile\, if you don’t already have one. Navigate to Yellow Studio’s open call. Use the links below to access the open call – one link is for Members of YS (free) and the other link is for Non-Members of YS ($25 submission fee).\n\nOPEN CALL – MEMBERS OF YS (Free)\nOPEN CALL – NON MEMBERS OF YS ($25 submission fee paid via Artwork Archive)\n  \nYour submission: \nUpload 1 to 3 artwork images. Include artist name\, title\, date\, medium\, dimensions and price in filename i.e. Pam Smith\, Peony\, 2025\, acrylic on canvas\, 10×10 inches\, $300.  \nUpload your Artist Statement tailored to your submitted artwork. \nUpload your Bio. \nSubmission fee: Free for Members of Yellow Studio / $25 for Non-Members (non-refundable\, paid through Artwork Archive) \n  \nArtwork guidelines: \nAll media are welcome. \nWall art must be no larger than 24 inches in any direction\, including frame. \nWall art must be wired.  \nPlease no sawtooth hanging hardware\, no French cleats\, no corner hanging hardware.  \nHanging sculpture must be no larger than 24 inches in any direction and weigh less than 15 pounds. \nFreestanding sculpture is limited to a 4 foot square footprint (24 inches x 24 inches) and 20 pounds maximum. \nLimited pedestals are available.  \n  \nCommission to Yellow Studio: \nYellow Studio receives a 30% commission for artwork sold while on display and for 30 days after. \n  \nThe submission period is April 10 to May 8. The artwork will be given to the purchaser at time of payment in full and another artwork will be hung in its place. This will be a rotating themed art installation that is constantly changing.
