Bowls\, urns\, cups\, and forms beyond naming – each one built to receive\, to enclose\, to keep. DESCRIPTION:A Retail Art Exhibition by Yellow Studio at Beehive \n\nYellow Studio invites women and non-binary artists to submit work for New York\, I Love You: a love letter to a state that defies a single picture. \n\n\nThe New York of city blocks and country roads\, of the Hudson at dusk and the Adirondacks at dawn. All of it. This is New York in full: the glitz and the grit\, the hustle and the hush\, the overlooked and the unforgettable. \n\n\nWe want the bodega roses and the wildflowers growing through the guardrail on the Taconic. The street corner that changed everything and the vista that took your breath away. The New York you moved toward and the one you couldn’t leave behind. \n\n\nOriginal artwork in all media is welcome.  \n\nSubmissions Open: Wednesday\, July 15\n\nSubmissions Close: Sunday\, July 29 \nVenue: Beehive at Yellow Studio (curated retail space)\n792 Route 35\, Cross River\, New York 10518 \n\n\n\nExhibition Format: This is a retail exhibition where selected artworks will be available for immediate purchase and pickup. Not all accepted pieces will be visible at the same time.\n\nArtwork drop-off: Tuesday\, September 1\nArtwork pick up: Tuesday\, November 17\n\n\n\nEligibility Criteria:\n\nSubmitting artists must identify as women or non-binary\nAll artwork must be original work created by the submitting artist\n\n\n\n\nApplication Requirements:\nYour Submission Must Include:\n\n\n1-3 artworks / image of each submitted artwork\nArtist Statement tailored to your submitted artwork\nArtist Bio\nSubmissions without a statement or bio will not be considered\nSubmissions will only be accepted through the Artwork Archive open call. No email submissions will be reviewed.\n\nImage Requirements\n\nSubmit 1-3 images of original artwork\nAll images must be digital files: JPEG format\, 300 DPI minimum\nFile size: maximum 5 MB per image\nName files as follows: LastName_FirstName_ImageTitle.jpg\n\nArtwork Size Requirements\n\nMaximum size: 24″ x 24″ \nAll dimensions refer to the actual artwork size\n2-dimensional artwork must be framed and wired (no french cleats)\, non-reflective art glass or plexi recommended\n\nMedium Requirements\n\nAll materials and media welcome. \n\nPricing Requirements\n\nAll artwork must be priced at $1000 or under\nYellow Studio receives a 30% commission on the listed artwork price (i.e. for an artwork priced at $100\, the Artist receives $70 and Yellow Studio receives $30)\n\n\n\nAccess the Open Call on Artwork Archive: (link will be posted on July 15)\n\nFor Yellow Studio Members: Free submission\nFor Non-Members: $25 submission fee\, non-refundable
