SUMMARY:In Bloom: A Floral Art Installation in The Co-Op and Beehive at Yellow Studio
DESCRIPTION:  \n  \nYellow Studio is constantly evolving and exploring new opportunities. Flowers in bloom serve as a visual reminder of the beauty in growth through change. In June\, we are celebrating the third anniversary of Yellow Studio with additional space to display art and expand our engagement with women owned businesses in the community. In this spirit\, Yellow Studio invited women Artists in the community working across all mediums to submit their floral artwork – work that is inspired by or a depiction of flowers. This installation is on view in The Co-Op and Beehive at Yellow Studio from June 21 to August 31. Please note that artwork will rotate in this installation. The inception of  The FlowerHouse occurred during the summer of 2020 when the significance of horticulture rapidly escalated due to its essential nature. In this curated exhibition\, we celebrate the power of photography to capture emotion\, form\, and story with striking clarity. \n\n\nWe’re excited to showcase the diverse perspectives of women photographers working in this timeless medium through a retail exhibition at The Co-Op and Beehive at Yellow Studio. From intimate portraits to sweeping landscapes\, detailed abstracts to candid street scenes\, “In Focus” brings together artists who embrace the sophisticated elegance and enduring appeal of black and white photography. \n\nYellow Studio invites women photographers in the community to submit their black-and-white work – imagery that demonstrates the enduring power of light\, shadow\, and composition to move and inspire\n\n\nEXHIBITION DETAILS\n\nVenue: The Co-Op and Beehive at Yellow Studio (curated retail space)\, 792 Route 35\, Cross River\, New York 10518\, United States\n\nExhibition Format: This is a retail exhibition where selected artworks will be available for immediate purchase and pickup. Unlike traditional gallery shows\, this is an ongoing sales exhibition integrated into our retail environment.\n\nDisplay Rotation: Accepted works may rotate in and out of display as pieces sell and new work is hung. Not all accepted pieces will be visible at the same time. Installation on view from September 5 to November 30\, 2025. \n\nSales Process: Purchased artwork goes home with the buyer immediately upon sale – no waiting until the exhibition ends.\n\nCommission Structure: Yellow Studio receives a 30% commission on all artwork sold while on display and for 30 days following the end of the exhibition period.\n\n\nArtwork Dropoff: August 26\nArtwork Pickup: December 2\n\n\nReception: There will be no formal opening reception.
