SUMMARY:Nature & Sustainability Club: Afternoon Hike
DESCRIPTION:Looking to connect with nature and other like-minded Yellow Studio women? Then join the Nature & Sustainability Club for an afternoon hike on Friday\, March 28 at 1pm. \nWe’ll be heading to Westmoreland Sanctuary in Mt Kisco for a scenic and serene hike. \nWestmoreland Sanctuary is a cherished not-for-profit nature center and wildlife preserve\, spanning the towns of Bedford\, Mt Kisco and Armonk\, Encompassing 669 acres\, Westmoreland is a sanctuary for both nature enthusiasts and wildlife alike. The 8.5 miles of hiking trails wind through diverse ecosystems where visitors are invited to explore and immerse themselves in the beauty of the natural world. We will enjoy an approximately hour long hike\, including Bechtel Lake\, which has benches and a dock for observing wildlife. \nWe will meet at the Westmoreland Park Natural Science Museum at 1pm.   \n  \nPlease park at the main entrance\, located at: \n260 Chestnut Ridge Road \nMount Kisco\, NY 10549 \n  \nA map for location details and parking lot information will be emailed to the hikers in advance of the hike.
