SUMMARY:Nature & Sustainability Club: Spring Hike at Zofnass Family Preserve
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a scenic 1-hour hike through the beautiful Zofnass Family Preserve on Thursday May 15 at 10am. The Zofnass Family Preserve encompasses rocky woods\, streams and wetlands\, an arboretum\, and\, at 127 acres\, is one of the largest Westchester Land Trust preserves. \nWe’ll park and meet on Joshua Hobby Road\, just off Upper Shad Road (there are a few designated spots available). More information here. We’ll follow the Eastern Loop trail for a relaxed one mile hike through the woods. \nDon’t forget bug spray\, tall socks (the ticks are out in full force)\, sturdy shoes\, and weather-appropriate clothing. \nOrganized by Sarah Ehrlich and Mona Lipson \nMember RSVP required. \nLocation: \nZofnass Family Preserve \n258 Upper Shad Rd. \nPound Ridge\, NY 10576
