SUMMARY:Film Club: Selection Coming Soon!
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the next Film Club meeting on Monday\, November 23 at 7pm \nThis month’s film selection coming soon\, stay tuned! \nThe Yellow Studio Arts Center Film Club\, hosted by Beth Spitalny \nLove a good movie and an even better conversation? The Yellow Studio Arts Center Film Club is a gathering of women who share a love for female-centric stories told on the big screen. \nEach month brings a new film to explore. Our picks span every genre and era\, but they all have one thing in common: they center women’s stories and/or are written or directed by a woman. Once a month\, we come together to talk it all through\, with Beth guiding the conversation through the film’s themes\, style\, genre and more! \nOur meetings are relaxed and informal\, and every YSAC Member is welcome. Whether you’re a passionate film buff or simply curious\, there’s a seat saved for you. \nAbout Beth Spitalny\nBeth has been working in the film and television industry for over 20 years as a writer and director. She received her MFA from USC’s School Of Cinematic Arts where she earned the Jack Oakie Scholarship for Comedic Screenplay and Panavision’s New Filmmaker Grant. Upon graduation she was a finalist for the HBO/DGA directing fellowship. Beth resides in Cross River with her son and husband.
