Let's hit the road and check out Storm King Art Center together!

Storm King Art Center is a 500-acre outdoor museum located in New York’s Hudson Valley, where visitors experience large-scale sculpture and site-specific commissions under open sky. Since 1960, Storm King has been dedicated to stewarding the hills, meadows, and forests of its site and surrounding landscape. Building on the visionary thinking of its founders, Storm King supports artists and some of their most ambitious works. Changing exhibitions, programming, and seasons offer discoveries with every visit.

Join us on Thursday October 12 at 6pm for a fun evening of catching up with friends and meeting new women in our community.

This is a potluck-style event! Please bring a favorite dish or sweet treat to share.

Yellow Studio will provide wine and non-alcoholic beverages.

This is also an excellent opportunity to see Courtney Alan Rossy's What It Leaves before it closes the following day on October 13 and a time you can tour Yellow Studio if you haven’t visited yet.

Join us on Saturday October 21 from 4 to 6pm to celebrate Tricia Caracappa and view the paintings in her solo exhibition, Possibilities.

Our first event on October 26th at 7:30pm is all about INTRODUCTIONS. Something we like to call The Get Curious Experience where we move beyond some of the standard, boring questions of an introduction and start to normalize the questions that might actually let us know who we're really talking to... and give us the opportunity to be ourselves.

Our first club outing will be to Grace Farms on Saturday October 28 (rescheduled from October 7) at 10am. Join us as we explore Grace Farms and its sprawling 80 acres of natural landscape, native perennials, and multiple diverse habitats.

Autumn has always been an inspiration to Artists. 

So let’s have our next Art Club gathering on November 1 at the Hammond Museum & Japanese Stroll Garden where we can also take in Driven to Abstraction: A Group Exhibition.

Back by popular demand! Join us for this unique opportunity - to have your portrait painted by local Artist Jessica Miller.

Each 7 x 5 inch expressionist portrait will capture the subject’s likeness and mood, painted in one half-hour sitting.

All are welcome to sit for a portrait, including children accompanied by an adult.

Each portrait is $250.

There will be 6 portrait sessions.

The first Book Club read is Tom Lake by Ann Patchett. Limited copies of Tom Lake are available at Yellow Studio for purchase from Picture Book.

Our next book club meetup will be on Tuesday January 23 at 6:30pm in the gallery at Yellow Studio.

We took a vote at our last book club meetup and the winner for the selected book is...How to Say Babylon: A Memoir by Safiya Sinclair.

This book will be available for purchase from Picture Book at the Holiday Market at Yellow Studio on Saturday November 18 from 10am to 4pm.

Looking for ways to unleash your creativity and holiday spirit? We've got you covered. The Wreath Forager will be here with a DIY wreath-making activity and the Yellow Studio Nature & Sustainability Club will have recycled materials to wrap gifts purchased at the Holiday Market (while supplies last).

Our vendors are all woman-owned businesses, our Studio Member Artists and Artist-in-Residence.
