Yellow Studio is

a space for all women. a space to work collaboratively. a place to share ideas. a place to create. a place to learn. a place to be immersed in art. a place to meet new people.

Here at Yellow Studio, we are building a community of women. Through our art gallery, residency program,
co-working space, events and workshops you will find connection, learning and joy. We hope you'll join us.

About Our Space

Our Gallery is located on the ground floor. Please check out our Exhibitions page to see what we have on view.

On the second floor, we have the Residency Studio and the Studios of Tricia Caracappa, Rebecca Rivard and Jen Mullowney.

In the Attic, we have six individual desks in one area and a larger workspace with two communal work tables and a counter with complimentary Nespresso, beverages and snacks. There are sound-absorbing curtains that can be drawn to divide these two Attic areas to provide a conference room, space for a gathering or a quiet private area for working. Coming soon: two private call rooms. Stay tuned for updates.

Pop-Up in Residence

Picture Book is an independent bookstore curated by Sara Davidson Johns, an art world veteran and mom. The shop’s thoughtful selection makes it easy and fun to find something special. You can browse the Picture Book edit of kids books, new fiction, art books, cookbooks, and more on the website www.picturebookny.com.

The first physical location of Picture Book opened inside the co-working space HudCo in Dobbs Ferry, New York in October 2020 and we are thrilled to open its second location in Yellow Studio in Cross River, New York in October 2022. Yellow Studio, with its co-working, art gallery, and artist residency is a wonderful opportunity to showcase Picture Book’s collection of monographs, exhibition catalogues and other coffee table worthy art books that highlight the work of women artists. The shop is located in the Lounge and the Attic of Yellow Studio with books for kids and adults to browse.

Picture Book x Yellow Studio Pop-Up is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and after hours when events are taking place at Yellow Studio.
