  • Hold – An Exhibition of Vessels and Objects in The Co-Op at Yellow Studio

The Co-Op at Yellow Studio presents Hold, a group exhibition of vessels and objects by women and non-binary artists. Bowls, urns, cups, and forms beyond naming - each one built to receive, to enclose, to keep. Working across ceramics, metal, fiber, and found materials, the artists in Hold turn their attention to the object in full: its shape and surface, structure and ornament, everything that gives an object its character and intention.

The Bride! is an American Gothic horror film directed and written by Maggie Gyllenhaal and starring Jessie Buckley (in a dual role), Christian Bale, Peter Sarsgaard, Annette Bening, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Penélope Cruz. The film draws inspiration from the 1935 film Bride of Frankenstein, which was based on Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein.

  • Upstate Art Weekend

Join us for an Artists' Talk during UAW on Saturday June 27 at 2pm.

Upstate Art Weekend (UAW) is an artist-forward, region-rooted arts platform dedicated to amplifying artists, organizations, and creative communities throughout the Hudson Valley and Catskills, while fostering meaningful exchange with aligned creative communities beyond the region. Founded in 2020, UAW began as an annual festival celebrating the cultural vibrancy of Upstate New York. Today, UAW functions as both its flagship annual event and a broader platform—supporting artists, strengthening cultural networks, and deepening public connection to art, people, and place through multiple initiatives. At the core of UAW’s work is a commitment to centering artists’ voices and practices while honoring the organizations, institutions, and individuals who shape regional creative ecosystems. UAW advances this mission through artist-forward programming and region-rooted partnerships that prioritize care, reciprocity, and long-term impact.

  • Art Club: Guided Tour of Rosen House at Caramoor

Join the Yellow Studio Art Club for a Guided Tour of Rosen House at Caramoor on Friday June 26 at 10am. This tour invites visitors to explore the historic Rosen House through a docent-led experience. Guests will step into the Mediterranean-style villa that Walter and Lucie Rosen created as a home filled with music, art, and extraordinary collections. The docent will share the stories behind the House’s carefully assembled treasures, including Asian and Renaissance art, period rooms imported from European villas and châteaux, and architectural details that reveal the Rosens’ global tastes and vision for a home that celebrates beauty and culture.

  • Writing Club

Once monthly we dedicate space and time for writing in the Gallery or The Co-Op. We’ll use the first hour for writing, followed by discussion. If you’re interested in turning your thoughts into words–but struggle to put pen to paper–these accountability sessions are a great way to get started!
