  • Nature & Sustainability Club: Warm Up at The Orchid Show

Escape the winter chill with Yellow Studio’s Nature and Sustainability Club at the annual Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden, themed “Mr. Flower Fantastic’s Concrete Jungle.” This immersive exhibition transforms iconic New York City scenes—stoops, slice shops, and even the subway—into vibrant floral landscapes. The show is designed by Mr. Flower Fantastic, one of the world’s most sought-after floral artists, known for blending nature, fashion, pop culture, and sustainability. His journey from his mother’s garden in Queens to global collaborations with brands like Nike and Louis Vuitton brings a powerful local-meets-global narrative to the experience.

  • Art Club: Critique Night

Are you in the midst of a project or work of art that you want to bring out of hiding? We as artists so often work in solitude but there is such beauty in community and opening ourselves up.

This Critique Night on Wednesday February 25 at 6:30pm will be a pressure free, supportive space to share ideas and get inspired. It’s completely okay if you don’t have anything concrete to bring for this gathering. You can also bring a question or issue related to art or art business that you would like the group to help with.

  • Live Music in The Co-Op: Julie Rosenberg and Sam Popkin

Join us for live music with Julie Rosenberg and Sam Popkin in The Co-Op at Yellow Studio on Thursday February 26 at 6pm.

As accomplished musicians, Julie and Sam began their friendship out of their mutual and infinite love of guitars. In this collaboration they bring together their styles of playing to the stage, in a special collaboration that will include music from their favorite bands that will include The Who, The Beatles, and Led Zeppelin.

  • The Yellow Show in The Co-Op at Yellow Studio

For The Yellow Show Open Call, Yellow Studio invited women artists working across all media to submit work that engages with yellow in unexpected ways.

Yellow defies simple meaning. It signals joy and caution, abundance and decay, clarity and hazard. It's sacred gold and rubber gloves, daffodils and taxi cabs.

This open call invited artists to investigate yellow in all its complexity: as pigment, symbol, cultural signifier, emotional landscape, and more.

What does yellow mean to you? What does it reveal? Come see for yourself, from February 27 to May 10.

  • Writing Club

Once monthly we will be dedicating space and time for writing in the Gallery. We’ll use the first hour for writing, followed by discussion. If you’re interested in turning your thoughts into words–but struggle to put pen to paper–these ‘butt in seat’ accountability sessions are a great way to get started!

  • The Phenomenon of Awe: Artists’ Talk
