Nature & Sustainability Club: Hike in Ward Pound Ridge Reservation

February 11 @ 10:00 am

Free

Looking to connect with nature and other liked-minded Yellow Studio women? Then join the Nature & Sustainability Club for our first hike of the year, Sunday February 11 at 10AM!

We’ll be bundling up and heading to Westchester County’s largest park, Ward Pound Ridge Reservation for a scenic and serene 2.5 mile hike with minimal elevation changes (Trail Y). This beautiful 4315 acre park offers 35 miles of hiking trails, picnicking, camping, and even cross-country skiing.

All visitors are asked to enter through the main gates located off Old Post Road (121). A parking fee of $10 is taken at the visitor entrance upon arrival, and for those who are Park Pass Holders, parking is free.

Once in the park, please make your first right onto Michigan Road. Follow the road until the picnic area. There are two parking lots, please park in either (note: there are Porta-Toilets available for use at this parking area).

A map for location details and parking lot information will be sent to hikers in advance of the hike.

We’ll meet and begin our journey at the picnic tables, departing around 10:15 AM.

We look forward to enjoying the surrounding beauty with each of you.
