Join us on Monday February 24 at 10am at the studio of Yellow Studio Artist Member Suzie Jellinek. Suzie will be showing us her work (both current and older), telling us about her process, giving us a tour of her studio set up and answering questions from the group.
Studio address in Darien, CT to be provided upon RSVP.
Join us for a Headshot Mini Marathon at Yellow Studio! With only 16 spots available, secure your 15-minute session for $200, which includes three high-res retouched JPG files and the option to purchase more from a downloadable gallery.
Led by internationally recognized photographer Angela Strassheim, owner of Heartstone Photography, known for her fun, artistic style and unique approach to portraiture, this session will provide a variety of backdrops and chairs.
Looking for accountability on your writing project? We're here to support that!
March 8th is International Women's Day and what better time to write about what it means to be a woman! While writing and sharing are always optional, we thought we'd devote this month's session on Wednesday March 5 to all things female.
The Writing Club is excited to host our first query workshop with Aimee Pokwatka, Yellow Studio Author-in-Residence.
Are you struggling with the idea of the query letter, have no idea how to compile comps, what a synopsis should look like, or where to even begin? Aimee Pokwatka will be leading a discussion on the ins and outs of successful strategies for pitching your work to agents and editors. Bring your writing tools, query/proposal drafts and questions! Free for Members / $20 for Non-Members
This Critique Night on Thursday April 3 at 6:30pm will be a pressure free, supportive space to share ideas and get inspired. It’s completely okay if you don’t have anything concrete to bring for this gathering. You can also bring a question or issue related to art or art business that you would like the group to help with.
Free. Open to all Yellow Studio Members. RSVP required.
Hosted by Alissa Leigh and Rebecca Rivard.
