Film Club Discussion of Poor Things

For our second meeting we will be discussing the selected film, Poor Things (2023) directed by Yorgos Lanthimos.
This Oscar winning film is an account of the fantastical evolution of Bella Baxter (Emma Stone), a young woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe).

Looking for accountability on your writing project? We're here to support that!

Once monthly we will be dedicating space and time for writing in the Gallery. Please join us quietly between 10 and 11; optional sharing and discussions will begin at 11. If you're interested in turning your thoughts into words–but struggle to put pen to paper–these 'butt in seat' accountability sessions are a great way to get started!

Opening: Lost and Found featuring Carol Bouyoucos and Tina Scepanovic

The Gallery at Yellow Studio presents "Lost and Found," a dynamic two-person exhibition featuring artists Carol Bouyoucos and Tina Scepanovic. On view February 15 to March 14, this thoughtfully curated show explores the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and technological innovation, as the artists move in opposite yet complementary directions; one mining the richness of historical techniques, the other pioneering new digital territories. Join us for an opening reception on Saturday February 22 from 4 to 6pm.
