Join us on Saturday December 7 for this unique opportunity – to have your portrait painted by local Artist Jessica Miller. Each 7 x 5 inch expressionist portrait will capture the subject’s likeness and mood, painted in one half-hour sitting. All are welcome to sit for a portrait, including children accompanied by an adult.

The Yellow Studio Film Club is a group of women who are interested in watching and discussing female-centric stories that have been on the big screen. Each month, a different film will be chosen- selections will vary in terms of genre and time period but will always involve a female-centric theme and/or be written and/or directed by a woman. Once a month the group will meet to discuss the various aspects of the chosen film. Meetings will be informal and open to anyone who has a passion, interest and/or curiosity about movies. Our first meeting on Tuesday December 17 at 7:30pm will be a time for all interested parties to introduce themselves and to share what they're hoping to get out of the group and to discuss screening options - from occasional theater outings to the flexibility of watching at home. We will also go over a curated list of possible films and discuss future meeting formats.
