From Within
Rebecca Rivard

March 22 to April 18

Opening Reception: Saturday March 22 from 4 to 6pm

The Gallery at Yellow Studio presents "From Within," a compelling solo exhibition by mixed-media artist Rebecca Rivard. Running March 22 through April 18, 2025, this intimate showcase explores themes of transformation and self-discovery through works that peel back layers to reveal the profound beauty of our inner worlds. Join us for an opening reception on Saturday, March 22 from 4 to 6pm. In this evocative body of work, Rivard masterfully navigates the terrain between external expression and internal reflection. Drawing inspiration from nature's rhythms and patterns, she builds richly textured surfaces through multiple layers of acrylic paint and precise linework on various substrates including wood panels and paper that pulse with inner vitality. Like geological formations that hold the story of time within their strata, her works reveal the accumulated wisdom of experience, inviting viewers to discover the profound beauty beneath surface appearances and connect with their path of personal evolution.

About the Artist
Rebecca Rivard creates richly layered mixed-media compositions inspired by nature's rhythms, exploring the relationship between sound, texture, and visual storytelling.
