Tina Villaveces founded Yellow Studio in Cross River, New York in 2022, where she now serves as Executive Director. She has dedicated her career to the arts and education, with nearly a decade in New York City commercial art galleries and museums and four years as an early childhood educator, which has given her a deep appreciation for and commitment to creativity and learning. She holds an MA in Museum Studies with a concentration in Contemporary Art from NYU and a BA in Art History, with minors in Architecture and French, from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.

Her experience includes Pace Gallery, Sean Kelly and James Cohan, internships at museums including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Guggenheim Museum and Whitney Museum of American Art, and a role as Project Manager at Pentagram. More recently, she worked at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum and volunteered at the Katonah Museum of Art. She has served as a juror for exhibitions at the Rowayton Arts Center and a judge for the Armonk Outdoor Art Show, and on the boards of the Katonah Museum Artists’ Association and The Pound Ridge Library Foundation. Tina lives in Pound Ridge with her husband and their two young sons.
