About Tricia Caracappa

Tricia Caracappa is captivated with delight. Her paintings explore and reflect the energy we feel when we follow what lights us up. Tricia’s vibrant abstract paintings are rooted in a deep foundation of drawing and painting and shaped by her background as both artist and interior designer. Her years of sketching interiors and mastering perspective give her a unique understanding of space, depth and composition to her work.

Tricia earned an interior design degree from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor of Science from Providence College, and studied at the Art Students League. After a twenty year career at a global financial firm, she left corporate for the creative, her first and true career passion. She prefers original drawings and paintings and hand rendered interior design proposals to computer aided designs.

Tricia’s art has been exhibited in solo and group shows, and is in private collections across the country. She currently serves on the board of the Katonah Museum of Artists’ Association. Tricia lives with her family in Katonah, NY and creates from her charming studio tucked into the 19th century brick lined Yellow Monkey Village in Cross River, NY, just upstairs from The Gallery at Yellow Studio.
