  • Hold – An Exhibition of Vessels and Objects in The Co-Op at Yellow Studio

The Co-Op at Yellow Studio presents Hold, a group exhibition of vessels and objects by women and non-binary artists. Bowls, urns, cups, and forms beyond naming - each one built to receive, to enclose, to keep. Working across ceramics, metal, fiber, and found materials, the artists in Hold turn their attention to the object in full: its shape and surface, structure and ornament, everything that gives an object its character and intention.

  • Submissions: New York, I Love You

A Retail Art Exhibtion by Yellow Studio at Beehive

Yellow Studio invites women and non-binary artists to submit work for New York, I Love You: a love letter to a state that defies a single picture.

The New York of city blocks and country roads, of the Hudson at dusk and the Adirondacks at dawn. All of it. This is New York in full: the glitz and the grit, the hustle and the hush, the overlooked and the unforgettable.

We want the bodega roses and the wildflowers growing through the guardrail on the Taconic. The street corner that changed everything and the vista that took your breath away. The New York you moved toward and the one you couldn't leave behind.

Original artwork in all media is welcome.

  • Nature & Sustainability Club: The Art of Botanical Pressing with Marguerite Alpert

For all interested artists of nature: this class is an opportunity to learn how to press fresh flowers using a wooden flower press (yours to keep). We will focus on a variety of techniques and materials for success. There will be plenty of opportunities for questions and discussions on the history, science, and design of pressed botanical art. Prepare for a creative, relaxing, and informative experience!

In Carol's words: "I recently moved to a small cottage on Peach Lake in North Salem. I wanted to create a very personal space that serves first as my studio, and secondly as a place for friends and family to gather. I look forward to welcoming you and sharing my space."
