In this workshop, you will learn how to master basic looks with the best application techniques – from subtle day-time looks to bold night-out styles – you will learn how to be your own makeup artist! Each attendee will leave Yellow Studio with some new tips and tricks and a personalized makeup shopping list.

Please bring your makeup bag (including brushes) and skincare products along with a mindset ready for a productive edit session – Essie will help you decide what is and is not best for your beauty routine!

About Essie Cohen

Essie is a self-taught makeup artist with over 18 years of professional experience in the cosmetics industry. She worked as a makeup artist/manager for MAC cosmetics for over 10 years, Ran a Multifaceted beauty service startup pilot studio in Scarsdale for 3 years while fostering her freelancing business. From her vast experience in this industry, she has made it one of her priorities to stay up to date on the latest makeup trends, tips, and tricks in order to keep evolving her craft. Essie’s incredible work has been featured in Manhattan Bride, Westchester Magazine, as well as other publications, and received several awards from The Knot and WeddingWire. 

Essie has built her luxury makeup artist business with her love of her clientele and vendor relations. She greatly values her relationships, and has been rewarded with some of her closest friendships from getting to know her clients, and being a part of their stories.
