Encaustic Basics with Rebecca Dunn

Join Rebecca Dunn on Wednesday, May 6 at 6:30pm for Encaustic Basics. Create an encaustic artwork from start to finish using approachable techniques: a smooth wax base, textured layers, and a simple image transfer.
Designed for both beginners and seasoned artists, this workshop introduces essential materials, safe studio practices, and the fundamentals of melting and working with wax. Through guided exploration, students will build layers, add texture, and experiment with mixed media techniques.
Each student will leave with 2 – 4” x 6” pieces.
