Join us for the next Film Club on Thursday, April 30 at 7pm at Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville to view the selected film, The Devil Wears Prada 2 (2026), directed by David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna, both of whom are returning from the original 2006 film.

Almost twenty years after making their iconic turns as Miranda, Andy, Emily, and Nigel—Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci return to the fashionable streets of New York City and the sleek offices of Runway Magazine in the sequel to the 2006 phenomenon The Devil Wears Prada.

The film reunites the original main cast, and introduces an all-new runway of characters including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak, and Conrad Ricamora.

The Yellow Studio Film Club is a group of women who are interested in watching and discussing female-centric stories that have been on the big screen. Each month, a different film will be chosen – selections will vary in terms of genre and time period but will always involve a female-centric theme and/or be written and/or directed by a woman. Once a month the group will meet to discuss the various aspects of the chosen film. Meetings will be informal and open to any YS Member who has a passion, interest and/or curiosity about movies.
