Film premise:Â In 1930s Chicago, a lonely Frankenstein’s monster asks a female scientist to reanimate a murdered woman to be his companion. However, upon reviving, the Bride asserts her independence, sparking romance, chaos, and a radical cultural movement.

The Yellow Studio Film Club is a group of women who are interested in watching and discussing female-centric stories that have been on the big screen. Each month, a different film will be chosen – selections will vary in terms of genre and time period but will always involve a female-centric theme and/or be written and/or directed by a woman. Once a month the group will meet to discuss the various aspects of the chosen film. Meetings will be informal and open to any YS Member who has a passion, interest and/or curiosity about movies.
