Film Club: Short Films Screening & Discussion

Join us for the next Film Club meeting on Wednesday November 12 at 7pm.
We will screen approximately 3-5 short films live and in person together at Yellow Studio. In between each screening, we’ll open the floor to discussion. All films will fall under the umbrella of a female-centric theme. Beth will send links to the films a week or so before November 12 so that people can watch beforehand if they’d like (watching before is not required though).
This session’s conversation will be led by Beth on topics from the film such as theme, style, genre and more!
The Yellow Studio Film Club is a group of women who are interested in watching and discussing female-centric stories that have been on the big screen. Each month, a different film will be chosen – selections will vary in terms of genre and time period but will always involve a female-centric theme and/or be written and/or directed by a woman. Once a month the group will meet to discuss the various aspects of the chosen film. Meetings will be informal and open to any YS Member who has a passion, interest and/or curiosity about movies.
