Obliterate the Stigma: A Cannabis Workshop with Jaime Gorman

April 20, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

$15.00

Take a deep dive into the fascinating world of cannabis (aka: marijuana, weed, ganja, pot, grass, etc.) with Jaime Gorman, an 8-year veteran of the industry and Yellow Studio Member. Learn about the botany of the plant, its complex and tumultuous history, its medicinal properties, and how to successfully navigate a dispensary. This knowledge will help you choose the plant medicine that’s right for you, all while breaking the stigma of cannabis that still exists today.

Cannabis will not be consumed or available for purchase at this workshop.

Delicious bites and libations will be served.

About Jaime Gorman

A life-long connoisseur of cannabis, Jaime made the decision eight years ago to turn her passion into a profession by taking the leap into the wonderful, and often-times challenging and complex, world of legalized cannabis.

After leaving her corporate career in the rear-view mirror, Jaime dove into educating herself by attending business conferences far and wide and even hashish training immersions – learning through her hands and senses.

Jaime first established a consultancy to provide education and resources to others intrigued in getting past the stigma associated with this special plant, and flirted with business concepts spanning from the coastal shores of Cape Breton, to a Christmas-tree farm in Western Massachusetts.

After finding the right partner and building out the right concept throughout the Covid induced lockdowns, Jaime and her co-founder, Laurel Mason, recently became one of the first fully licensed New York state cannabis processors through their company – Highland Goat.

Highland Goat will be coming to dispensaries in June with truly unique products: naturally infused vegan gummy gems and full spectrum topicals containing no chemicals or toxins, all while staying true to an ethos of sustainability, transparency, empowering women, and fighting the good fight for sister cannabis.

In her spare time while not working to turn an industry on its head, Jaime is an avid racquet sports player, paddle-boarder, Ward Pound Ridge hiker, and mother of two amazing girls, Poppy and Thea.

Please note that tickets are non-refundable.

Limited to 20 attendees.
