Exploring the Author-Editor Relationship with Michelle Garside and Diana Ventimiglia

Michelle Garside is a visionary brand architect who has spent the last 15 years transforming personal and corporate identities, crafting brands that resonate at the deepest level.
After leaving a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, where she built powerhouse brands for Novo Nordisk, Unilever and Johnson & Johnson, she dedicated herself to a more profound mission—helping individuals uncover the soul of their own brand.
With a gift for seeing the through-line that connects a person’s story, purpose, and impact, Michelle has created thousands of personal brands that embody authenticity and alignment.
Diana Ventimiglia is a NYT bestselling editor at the Balance imprint of Hachette Group. For the past 19 years, her passion has been working with authors who speak to the diversity of lived experiences. Diana has always been drawn to strong voices in female empowerment/feminism, identity & sexuality, relationships, LGBTQ+ rights, psychology, pop culture, and trauma & mental health; believing that everyone has a story to tell and lessons to share. As an editor, Diana partners with incredible individuals who are dedicated to starting bigger conversations and inspiring individual and collective healing. When she’s not working with authors, you’ll find Diana working through the 5 plus books on her nightstand and yelling at her cat, Phillip, to stop knocking things off the shelf. She’s always excited to talk about all things yoga, rock climbing and pizza.
