YS Member Art Show Submissions
April 22 - May 6
From Saturday June 7 to Saturday July 5, The Gallery at Yellow Studio will present our Member Art Show.
The opening reception will take place on Saturday June 7 from 4 to 6pm.
To submitting Artists: please select artwork that pushes the boundaries of your style and technique and stands out in your body of work. This artwork should be work that you are eager for the community to see. Please don’t submit artwork that has been shown locally in the past year. You must be a Yellow Studio Artist Member to submit artwork to this open call (this includes Supporter Members who are professional Artists).
To submit via Artwork Archive:
First create an Artwork Archive profile, if you don’t already have one. Navigate to The Gallery at Yellow Studio’s open call. (Link to be provided closer to the submission date.)
Your submission:
Upload 3 to 5 artwork images. Include title, date, medium, dimensions and price.
Upload your Artist Statement tailored to your submitted artwork.
Upload your Bio.
Submission fee: $35 (non-refundable, paid through Artwork Archive)
Artwork guidelines:
All media are welcome.
Wall art must be no larger than 40 inches in any direction, including frame.
Wall art must be wired.
Please no sawtooth hanging hardware, no French cleats, no corner hanging hardware.
Hanging sculpture must be no larger than 36 inches in any direction and weigh less than 15 pounds.
Freestanding sculpture is limited to a 4 foot square footprint (2 feet x 2 feet) and 20 pounds maximum.
Limited pedestals are available.
Commission to Yellow Studio:
Yellow Studio receives a 40% commission for artwork sold during the show and 30 days after the close of the show.
The submission period is April 22 to May 6.
