Join us for a scenic 1-hour hike through the beautiful Zofnass Family Preserve on Thursday May 15 at 10am. The Zofnass Family Preserve encompasses rocky woods, streams and wetlands, an arboretum, and, at 127 acres, is one of the largest Westchester Land Trust preserves.

Join us on Saturday May 17 for this unique opportunity – to have your portrait painted by local Artist Jessica Miller.
Each 7 x 5 inch expressionist portrait will capture the subject’s likeness and mood, painted in one half-hour sitting.
All are welcome to sit for a portrait, including children accompanied by an adult.
Each portrait is $250.
There will be 6 portrait sessions.

Imagine you finally have your book out in the world and you're going on tour, or that you've been invited to talk about your work on your favorite podcast - are you ready? How do you prepare for an interview? What takes a mediocre interview to an amazing interview that gets thousands (millions?) of views? How do you ensure that you'll get invited back to talk about your second book?
The Writing Club is excited to host Fran Hauser, who has not only done all of the above, but also regularly interviews writers and artists on her podcast, Bookbound, and elsewhere. Lauren Schwarzfeld will be moderating. Lauren recently produced a TEDx event where she coached speakers to engage and inspire. Fran and Lauren know what makes a successful interview and are ready to share.
Join us on Thursday May 22 at 10am at the studio of Yellow Studio Artist Member Sally Frank. Sally will be showing us her work (both current and older), telling us about her process, giving us a tour of her studio set up and answering questions from the group.

And the conversation doesn’t stop there—after the performances, we’re opening it up to an intimate Q&A, where the audience gets to dive deeper, connect, and keep the dialogue going.

In April and May we invited entrepreneurs in to share their experiences of small business ownership through either a brick and mortar or online store, we'd love to talk about ideas, thoughts and inspiration that may have come from these panel discussions.
Come with questions for the group, ideas to share or ways to support these or other small businesses.
