Once monthly we will be dedicating space and time for writing in the Gallery. Please join us quietly between 10 and 11; optional sharing and discussions will begin at 11. If you're interested in turning your thoughts into words–but struggle to put pen to paper–these 'butt in seat' accountability sessions are a great way to get started!

Led by internationally recognized photographer Angela Strassheim, owner of Heartstone Photography, known for her fun, artistic style and unique approach to portraiture, this session will provide a variety of backdrops and chairs.

The Writing Club is excited to host our first query workshop with Aimee Pokwatka, Yellow Studio Author-in-Residence.
Are you struggling with the idea of the query letter, have no idea how to compile comps, what a synopsis should look like, or where to even begin? Aimee Pokwatka will be leading a discussion on the ins and outs of successful strategies for pitching your work to agents and editors. Bring your writing tools, query/proposal drafts and questions! This Critique Night on Thursday April 3 at 6:30pm will be a pressure free, supportive space to share ideas and get inspired.
