Life Perceived

A Katonah Museum Artists' Association Exhibition
On view January 14 to February 8

Opening Reception: Saturday January 14 from 3 to 5pm
Artist Talk: Thursday January 26 from 6 to 7:30 pm

We all experience our surroundings and daily life imbued with our own memories, manners of thinking and particular preferences. We pick up on different elements as they relate to our senses and our perceptions of color and light. Artists have their own ways of depicting the world around them based on their style, training and process, paying special attention to color and form. How do you perceive your world through the lens of abstraction? Show us your “Life Perceived.” The theme of this exhibition is as much about the final work of art as it is about the process used to get there, as often is the case with abstraction.
