Molly Felde
Molly is an Architect by training with a focus on the design process.
She fell in love with writing when she began her memoir, At the Edge. One of the best parts of the writing journey is the community and friendships that result through shared work, feedback, and experiences.
At the Edge, currently out for submission, is about her experiences teaching architecture at a university in Papua New Guinea where she was transformed from architect to teacher, from foreigner to wantok — the local term for family — and how teaching the creative process in Papua New Guinea altered her post-colonial perspective. Told through the lens of design At the Edge examines the relationship between creativity, education, identity and community. She has recently begun publishing her writing on Substack.
Molly now lives in Katonah, NY, with her husband, and two sons and enjoys all things creative.
She lives in Cross River with her family.
