Trip to The Met Cloisters: An Immersive Art and Garden Experience hosted by Rebecca Rivard and Tricia Caracappa

Yellow Studio invites you to join us on an inspiring trip to The Met Cloisters, where art and nature come together in a breathtaking setting. Nestled in Fort Tryon Park in New York City, The Met Cloisters is renowned for its collection of medieval art and its beautifully designed gardens.

Museum Tour: Explore the rich history and stunning artworks housed in The Met Cloisters. Our self guided tour will take you through the museum’s unique exhibits, showcasing medieval sculptures, tapestries, illuminated manuscripts, and more.

Garden Exploration: Wander through the enchanting gardens that surround The Met Cloisters. Learn about the medieval horticultural practices and enjoy the beauty of the carefully curated plants and flowers.

We will enjoy lunch at the museum cafe around 12:30 followed by some leisure time to explore the museum and gardens at your own pace, sketch, or simply soak in the tranquil atmosphere.

Date: Tuesday August 20th
Departure Time: leave from Yellow Studio at 9am. Tina has graciously offered to drive 6 of us. If you prefer to take the train aim to meet us at the Museum entrance by 10:30.
Return Time: we aim to leave around 2:30
Cost: $5 per person (includes transportation and museum entry)
