We will explore how to capture the dynamic interplay of light, shadow, and organic forms using fluid watercolor techniques. Whether you are a seasoned painter or holding a brush for the first time, you will walk away with a fresh perspective on observing the world and a beautiful piece of your own.
No prior watercolor experience is required.

About Courtney Alan Rossy
Courtney Alan Rossy is a multidisciplinary artist and educator whose practice bridges fine art with academic scholarship. With a B.A. from Boston College, a Masters from Columbia University and over a decade of teaching experience, Alan creates work deeply influenced by art historical traditions while fostering innovative partnerships with museums and arts organizations. An educator with deep roots in art history and theory, Courtney brings both intellectual rigor and intuitive response to her studio practice. Her mixed media approach creates richly textured surfaces that invite close examination, revealing layers of decision-making that speak to her belief in art as a path for both external observation and internal discovery.
