In Bloom at Yellow Studio 

Yellow Studio is constantly evolving and exploring new opportunities. Flowers in bloom serve as a visual reminder of the beauty in growth through change. In June, we are celebrating the third anniversary of Yellow Studio with additional space to display art and expand our engagement with women owned businesses in the community. In this spirit, Yellow Studio invites women Artists in the community working across all mediums to submit their floral artwork – work that is inspired by or a depiction of flowers. 

To submit via Artwork Archive: 

First create an Artwork Archive profile, if you don’t already have one. Navigate to Yellow Studio’s open call. (Link to be provided closer to the submission date.)

Your submission:

Upload 1 to 3 artwork images. Include artist name, title, date, medium, dimensions and price in filename i.e. Pam Smith, Peony, 2025, acrylic on canvas, 10×10 inches, $300. 

Upload your Artist Statement tailored to your submitted artwork.

Upload your Bio.

Submission fee: Free for Members of Yellow Studio / $25 for Non-Members (non-refundable, paid through Artwork Archive)

Artwork guidelines:

All media are welcome.

Wall art must be no larger than 24 inches in any direction, including frame.

Wall art must be wired. 

Please no sawtooth hanging hardware, no French cleats, no corner hanging hardware. 

Hanging sculpture must be no larger than 24 inches in any direction and weigh less than 15 pounds.

Freestanding sculpture is limited to a 4 foot square footprint (24 inches x 24 inches) and 20 pounds maximum.

Limited pedestals are available. 

Commission to Yellow Studio:

Yellow Studio receives a 30% commission for artwork sold while on display and for 30 days after.

The submission period is April 10 to May 8. The artwork will be given to the purchaser at time of payment in full and another artwork will be hung in its place. This will be a rotating themed art installation that is constantly changing. Artwork will need to be available for display from June 1 to August 31.
