Join Jen Chau Fontán, Certified Somatic Coach, for Stepping Toward a Future Shape: An Intro Workshop to Somatic Coaching as a methodology for embodied transformation.
This workshop will cover*:
- An introduction to how somatic coaching works
- A space to imagine your “future shape,” a vision around something you’ve been longing for
- A chance to experience somatic practice
- The opportunity to name a next step toward your “future shape”
*This workshop will cover the same subjects as Jen’s workshop with the same title, held on July 1, 2025 at Yellow Studio.

Jen Chau Fontán is a cis mixed race woman who spends her days as a somatic / executive coach supporting folks across the country (and internationally) in their career and life goals. In the beginning of her career, she worked within NYC nonprofits in management and talent /HR positions, creating internal processes, leading teams, strategizing around culture change and race equity work, and coaching staff at all levels of the organization.
Over time, she got more and more interested in impacting the health of organizations by doing 1:1 coaching with those in leadership. In 2017, she transitioned into full-time coaching as an executive coach to senior leaders of progressive sector organizations through The Management Center, where she serves as an adjunct coach today. She then created her own practice, JCF Coaching in 2018.
Today she is a somatic coach, certified by Strozzi Institute, and works with those who are seeking personal transformation and healing, and the ability to have a broader positive impact in the world. In her own somatic work, Jen has been practicing joy, ease and spaciousness. She lives in Westchester, NY with her husband and daughter.
