Aimee Pokwatka will be leading a discussion on the ins and outs of successful strategies for pitching your work to agents and editors. Bring your writing tools, query/proposal drafts and questions! Free for Members / $20 for Non-Members
Please join us for the opening of Rebecca Rivard's solo show, From Within, on Saturday March 22 from 4 to 6pm.
In this evocative body of work, Rivard masterfully navigates the terrain between external expression and internal reflection. Drawing inspiration from nature's rhythms and patterns, she builds richly textured surfaces through multiple layers of acrylic paint and precise linework on various substrates including wood panels and paper that pulse with inner vitality. Like geological formations that hold the story of time within their strata, her works reveal the accumulated wisdom of experience, inviting viewers to discover the profound beauty beneath surface appearances and connect with their path of personal evolution.
Join us for Book Club at Bedford Books on Tuesday March 25 at 6:30pm to discuss Self-Portrait with Nothing by Aimee Pokwatka, current Yellow Studio Author-in-Residence.
