This Critique Night on Tuesday July 22 at 6:30pm will be a pressure free, supportive space to share ideas and get inspired. It’s completely okay if you don’t have anything concrete to bring for this gathering. You can also bring a question or issue related to art or art business that you would like the group to help with. Free. Open to all Yellow Studio Members. RSVP required.

Join us for a collaborative discussion with writers on getting their ideas to paper. Everyone has a different journey and while writing can seem like a solo adventure, there is a whole community of writers that can help us on our writing odyssey.
Lauren Porté-Schwarzfeld will lead our discussion with local authors Lauren Acampora, Jimin Han and Heather Harpham on topics ranging from the ups and downs of the creative process to the nitty-gritty path to publishing. The talk will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions and chat with the authors.

What does it mean to belong? Where do we find our place in a world of constant movement and change? The Gallery at Yellow Studio invites you to explore these profound questions through Between Here and There, a juried member exhibition featuring twenty-two women artists. On view from Saturday, November 22, through Sunday, December 21, 2025. Celebrate with us at the opening reception on Saturday, December 6, from 4 to 6pm.
Join us for a studio visit with Jessica Porter on Friday December 19 at 10am in Tarrytown. During our visit, Jessica will explain and show her detailed artwork process, from initial inspiration, sketches, color palette development to final painting. All an extension from her training and professional background as an interior architect. She will dive into her archived files from her past paintings and commissions from her notebook sketches as well as some paintings that are currently in the works. This visit will give the Art Club a glimpse into the layered approach to her compositions that spark memory, feelings and depth.
