If writing was part of your New Year plan, or if it's been on your to-do list for awhile and you need some help with accountability (or just want to see some friendly faces), Yellow Studio now has a Writing Club. This TWICE monthly writing group is a mix of writing, talking about writing connecting over a desire to write more and share our words, and anything else that comes up in the process. Sharing is always optional, and you get to choose what (if any) feedback you get from the group.
Bring your coffee/breakfast and favorite writing tools!
The YS Writing Club is for YS Members only, we are also creating writing focused events that will open to the larger community... stay tuned!
Dive into the art of gilding, an age-old technique used to embellish paper and canvas artworks with a 23 karat gold leaf. This workshop is tailored for beginners, offering a hands-on introduction to the fundamentals of gilding using water-based adhesives. Feel free to bring a small artwork you’ve been interested in applying gold leaf too, or create a piece from scratch in class.
Limited to 10 attendees.
Join us for an opening reception on Saturday, March 2 from 4-6pm to meet the artists, Alissa Leigh, Rebecca Rivard and Julie Rosenberg, and experience the vibrant harmonies on view in Frequency.
Please RSVP. All are welcome.
After an incredibly successful Career Pivot Panel in January, we'd like to invite Yellow Studio Members to a Networking Club event that will dive into defining values as a way of making micro-pivots towards joy and alignment.
Join us for The Founder Series, an inspiring and empowering talk series where we shine a spotlight on the remarkable stories of four local women who have forged their paths in the entrepreneurial landscape of our community. This engaging series is designed to celebrate the achievements, resilience and innovation of local women founders who have defied norms and continue to navigate challenges to build successful ventures.
In honor of International Women's Day on March 8, Yellow Studio invites all women in our community for a breakfast celebration dedicated to recognizing and appreciating the incredible women in our lives.
Join us for delicious breakfast bites by Graze New York, community and connection.
This is a free event. Please RSVP.
Dreaming big for 2024? Join us at this month's Art Club meetup, where the magic happens when creative minds unite to inspire and support each other's goals. Bring your ambitious projects out of hiding, and together we'll explore visualization and meditation, including Tara Mohr's Playing Big Inner Wisdom Visualization, to boost inspiration, build self-trust, and conquer overwhelm. As always, we welcome sharing your creative or business projects for constructive, pressure-free feedback – because everyone deserves a space to grow.
There will be a still life set up and time to draw or paint while we are together. Materials will be provided and you can feel free to bring your own, if so inspired.
All Yellow Studio Members are welcome. Please RSVP.
