    We’ll be heading to Westmoreland Sanctuary in Mt Kisco for a scenic and serene hike.

  • Half-Hour Portraits by Jessica Miller

    Join us on Saturday March 29 for this unique opportunity – to have your portrait painted by local Artist Jessica Miller.
    Each 7 x 5 inch expressionist portrait will capture the subject’s likeness and mood, painted in one half-hour sitting.
    All are welcome to sit for a portrait, including children accompanied by an adult.
    Each portrait is $250.
    There will be 6 portrait sessions.

    Looking for accountability on your writing project? We're here to support that!

    Once monthly we will be dedicating space and time for writing in the Gallery. We'll use the first hour for writing, followed by discussion. If you're interested in turning your thoughts into words–but struggle to put pen to paper–these 'butt in seat' accountability sessions are a great way to get started!

  • Art Club: Critique Night

    This Critique Night on Thursday April 3 at 6:30pm will be a pressure free, supportive space to share ideas and get inspired. It’s completely okay if you don’t have anything concrete to bring for this gathering. You can also bring a question or issue related to art or art business that you would like the group to help with.

    This community is made up of so many small businesses that we all love and adore - stores that we can’t wait to pop into and check out what’s new and wander around!

    On April 8, we’re bringing together a few of these shop owners to give us a peek behind the curtain to understand what really goes into running a brick and mortar business - the unique challenges, opportunities and exciting moments!

  • Open Call: In Bloom at Yellow Studio

    Yellow Studio is constantly evolving and exploring new opportunities. Flowers in bloom serve as a visual reminder of the beauty in growth through change. In June, we are celebrating the third anniversary of Yellow Studio with additional space to display art and expand our engagement with women owned businesses in the community. In this spirit, Yellow Studio invites women Artists in the community working across all mediums to submit their floral artwork - work that is inspired by or a depiction of flowers. Submission fee: Free for Members of Yellow Studio / $25 for Non-Members

    Join Yellow Studio Member Tambra McCarthy on Thursday April 17 at 9:30am for a Soulful Morning Meditation session at Yellow Studio...blending stillness, breath and creative energy to nourish the soul.

  • YS Member Art Show Submissions

    From Saturday June 7 to Saturday July 5, The Gallery at Yellow Studio will present our Member Art Show.
    The opening reception will take place on Saturday June 7 from 4 to 6pm. 

    To submitting Artists: please select artwork that pushes the boundaries of your style and technique and stands out in your body of work. This artwork should be work that you are eager for the community to see. Please don't submit artwork that has been shown locally in the past year. You must be a Yellow Studio Artist Member to submit artwork to this open call (this includes Supporter Members who are professional Artists). 
    The submission period is April 22 to May 6.

  • Writing Club: Critique Night

    Interested in receiving feedback on your work?  The Writing Club will be hosting Critique Night once every other month.

    YS Members can email their work, up to 3000 words to Molly and/or Lauren by April 20 to distribute to participants to read. If you prefer to read/perform a short piece (~3 to 5 minutes in length) that is also an option. As always, you can clarify the type of feed-back you'd like.
