About Courtney Alan Rossy

Courtney Alan Rossy is an artist and educator living in Bedford, NY. She received a BA from Boston College with a double major in Studio Art and Visual Communications. She has been teaching Art and Art History for over a decade. Her studio practice focuses on exploration and growth with concepts that connect an active love of materiality and freedom of discovery. Courtney’s work is deeply rooted in art history, art theory, psychology and philosophy finding inspiration in the work of Lee Krasner, Georgia O’Keefe, Pierre Bonnard, Utagawa Hiroshige, Remedios Varo and numerous contemporary painters.
