  • Art Club: Critique Night

Are you in the midst of a project or work of art that you want to bring out of hiding? We as artists so often work in solitude but there is such beauty in community and opening ourselves up.

This Critique Night on Thursday May 21 at 6:30pm will be a pressure free, supportive space to share ideas and get inspired. It’s completely okay if you don’t have anything concrete to bring for this gathering. You can also bring a question or issue related to art or art business that you would like the group to help with.

  • Opening Reception: Fiber Forward

The Gallery at Yellow Studio invited women and non-binary artists to submit work that challenges conventional perceptions of fiber art. We selected work demonstrating innovative approaches that expand the medium’s possibilities; work that complicates boundaries between decoration and concept, tradition and innovation, or material and meaning. This exhibition showcases fiber art as a site of experimentation, examining how artists reimagine thread, fabric, rope, and other fibrous materials as vehicles for critical inquiry, spatial intervention, technological integration, or performative practice. More information coming soon.
