Once monthly we will be dedicating space and time for writing in the Gallery. We’ll use the first hour for writing, followed by discussion. If you’re interested in turning your thoughts into words–but struggle to put pen to paper–these ‘butt in seat’ accountability sessions are a great way to get started!

Join us for the next Film Club on Thursday, April 30 at 7pm at Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville to view the selected film, The Devil Wears Prada 2 (2026), directed by David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna, both of whom are returning from the original 2006 film.

Join us for Film Club on Thursday May 28 at 7pm. We will be discussing the selected film, Mistress Dispeller (2020/2024). This documentary film directed by Elizabeth Lo, explores a unique, covert industry in China where professionals, like Teacher Wang, are hired to break up extramarital affairs to save marriages. The film provides an intimate look at the emotional complexities of infidelity and the methods used to dissolve them.
