The Gallery at Yellow Studio presents Said in Color, an exhibition of paintings and wall relief sculptures by Alissa Leigh and Giselle Landers, on view April 25 to May 24, 2025. Color is a language, and these two abstract painters each speak it with a different accent, arriving at bold, expressive work from opposite directions. Join us for the opening reception on Saturday, April 25, from 4 to 6pm.
Join us for Book Club at Bedford Books on Tuesday April 28 at 6:30pm to discuss Lady Tremaine by Rachel Hochhauser. There will be lively discussion, questions posed and answered and time to connect with fellow YS Members.
Join Karen Lerner of 333Knits for a cozy, hands-on journey into the wonderful world of knitting! This workshop is meant to follow Karen's recent Knitting Workshop where participants made their first hats. If you did not complete that workshop and are new to knitting, you may sign up for this workshop and create a hat.
The FlowerHouse 4 week Spring Flower Subscription is available for pick up at The Co-Op at Yellow Studio! CSA subscribers will receive the best of the weekly harvest arranged in signature FlowerHouse style.
Join us for the next Film Club on Thursday, April 30 at 7pm at Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville to view the selected film, The Devil Wears Prada 2 (2026), directed by David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna, both of whom are returning from the original 2006 film.
Once monthly we dedicate space and time for writing in the Gallery or The Co-Op. We’ll use the first hour for writing, followed by discussion. If you’re interested in turning your thoughts into words–but struggle to put pen to paper–these accountability sessions are a great way to get started!
Need a lift? Join the Networking Club for Coffee & Conversation - a space to decompress, share your growth goals, and tap into the power of collective confidence. Spring is the perfect time to reconnect with familiar faces and welcome new ones. Come soak up the good energy.
Join the Yellow Studio Nature & Sustainability Club on Wednesday, May 13 at 6pm for Re-Wilding Workshop: Weave, Gather, Create with Rebecca Rivard. This hands-on outdoor workshop centered on creativity, sustainability, and connection to the natural world.
Join Yellow Studio and Corrie Jackson, writer and editor on Thursday, May 14 at 10am for an interactive workshop: Finding the Language for Your Work. Clear Words for Your Website, Bio, and Beyond.
Writing about your work can be surprisingly difficult. Many creatives and small business owners know exactly what they do—until they have to articulate it for a website, bio, or social profile. The result? Flat, vague language—and a missed opportunity to connect with the right audience.
Join us on Friday May 15 at 9:30am for Mindfulness Club: Softening the Grip.
In this session, Tambra will take us on a journey to practice and cultivate releasing control while staying anchored. Less force. More flow.
Join us on Saturday, May 16 at 2pm to learn more about the artistic practices, process, and influences of Giselle Landers and Alissa Leigh.
