  • The Yellow Show in The Co-Op at Yellow Studio

For The Yellow Show Open Call, Yellow Studio invited women artists working across all media to submit work that engages with yellow in unexpected ways.

Yellow defies simple meaning. It signals joy and caution, abundance and decay, clarity and hazard. It's sacred gold and rubber gloves, daffodils and taxi cabs.

This open call invited artists to investigate yellow in all its complexity: as pigment, symbol, cultural signifier, emotional landscape, and more.

What does yellow mean to you? What does it reveal? Come see for yourself, from February 27 to May 10.

  • Submissions: Yellow Studio Member Art Show

To submitting Yellow Studio Artist Members: please select artwork that pushes the boundaries of your style and technique and stands out in your body of work. This artwork should be work that you are eager for the community to see. Please don’t submit artwork that has been shown previously at Yellow Studio.

The submission period is May 6 to May 27.

  • Encaustic Basics with Rebecca Dunn

  • Writing Club

Once monthly we dedicate space and time for writing in the Gallery or The Co-Op. We’ll use the first hour for writing, followed by discussion. If you’re interested in turning your thoughts into words–but struggle to put pen to paper–these accountability sessions are a great way to get started!

  • Networking Club: Coffee & Conversation

Need a lift? Join the Networking Club for Coffee & Conversation - a space to decompress, share your growth goals, and tap into the power of collective confidence. Spring is the perfect time to reconnect with familiar faces and welcome new ones. Come soak up the good energy.

  • Networking Club: Spring Reset

Join us May 12 at 6:30pm for a Spring Reset and an invitation to come back to yourself.

So much of how we live, react, and relate is shaped by the state of our nervous system. When we are dysregulated, life can feel overwhelming, disconnected, or stuck. When we begin to understand and support our system, we create the conditions for real change.

Molly Carmel, therapist and healer, will be in conversation with Lauren Porté Schwarzfeld for an intimate and interactive discussion exploring the nervous system, self-connection, and what it takes to feel steady in an unsteady world.

The experience will close with a guided sound healing ceremony using traditional metal singing bowls from Bhutan. This Spring-focused healing is designed to support release, renewal, and new beginnings, helping the body settle, integrate, and open to what is next.

    We hope you'll join us!

  • Finding the Language for Your Work: An Interactive Workshop with Corrie Jackson

Join Yellow Studio and Corrie Jackson, writer and editor on Thursday, May 14 at 10am for an interactive workshop: Finding the Language for Your Work. Clear Words for Your Website, Bio, and Beyond.

Writing about your work can be surprisingly difficult. Many creatives and small business owners know exactly what they do—until they have to articulate it for a website, bio, or social profile. The result? Flat, vague language—and a missed opportunity to connect with the right audience.

    Get Tickets $20.00 – $25.00
  • Hold – An Exhibition of Vessels and Objects in The Co-Op at Yellow Studio

The Co-Op at Yellow Studio presents Hold, a group exhibition of vessels and objects by women and non-binary artists. Bowls, urns, cups, and forms beyond naming - each one built to receive, to enclose, to keep. Working across ceramics, metal, fiber, and found materials, the artists in Hold turn their attention to the object in full: its shape and surface, structure and ornament, everything that gives an object its character and intention.
